Rajnikanth gets a standing ovation while Sushant Singh Rajput's film Chinchore won the title of Best Hindi Film.

Today on the 25th of October, a prestigious award function, The 67th National Films Award took place. Many legendary actors were present and vice president Venkaiah Naidu presented the awardees.

Manoj Bajpayee was awarded for the best actor for his film Bhonsle. South star Dhanush also received an award for best actor for his performance in Asuran.

The legend of the cinema, Rajnikanth bagged the award for his immense contribution to the cinema. He gets the standing ovation at the award function.

Kangana Ranaut took home her 4th award for her performance in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi and Panga. She previously won best-supporting actress in Fashion and best actress in Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Queen.

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's film Chinchore was tagged as a Best Hindi film. Priyadarshan's Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea won best feature film.
