The Indian Air force after an SoS call by authorities on October 2020 sent two Advance light helicopter to reach harsil a hill station in uttarakhand and rescued Ops underway. Bodies of trekkers and guides were found.
A large number of adventurous people go to uttarakhand for trekking every year. The sport of trekking is a roller coaster ride. It is very exciting, playful but at the same time can be dangerous and life threatening.
After the Sos call the air force took a serious mission of rescue operation in uttarakhand’s lamkhaga pass which is very high at an altitude of 17000 ft where 17 trekkers including tourist ,guides, porters lost their way .
The reason for losing their way was that there was huge wind and snowfall along with inclement weather. Who would have thought that this terrific snowfall will come and take away the wonderful lives of 11 tourists .
Out of the 17 people only 11 have been found till now in the dangerous area . On October 20 after a serious problem , which has of a huge snow fall which came all of a sudden and made 17 people missing a SoS call was made due to which the strong Indian Air force deployed 2 Advanced light helicopter to reach Harsil a tourist hill station in the state.
The next day at a new site more four bodies were found. May the souls of these tourists rest in peace.
