SALT Entertainment has released an updated statement regarding Kim Seon Ho‘s contract which was going to end in September.
Earlier, it was reported by Sports Donga that Kim Seon Ho’s contract was supposed to end in September, but there was a short extension due to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, some clauses from his contract were extended.
Kim Seon Ho and SALT Entertainment were discussing a contract renewal since the summer ahead of his contract expiration in early September. Rumors had already spread within the industry that his contract was about to end, and several agencies already attempted to get into contact with him to try to lure him to their agency.
However, due to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, the decision on whether to renew or transfer to a different agency got pushed back to after Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha ended.

Later, SALT Entertainment stated that the report was not true. They said:
The reports about Kim Seon Ho’s contract expiration are not true. It is not even time for him to renew his contract.
We are currently organizing our position, and we will share it as soon as possible.

Recently today, SALT Entertainment has released an updated statement regarding Kim Seon Ho‘s contract length, sharing that he still has one year left.
In an exclusive statement to K Star-News, SALT Entertainment shared:
The reports that said Kim Seon Ho’s contract expired in September is not true at all. Normally, negotiations about contract renewals begin three months prior to the end of the contract, but now is not the time for us to hold these negotiations as there is still one year left on the contract.
We will work with him right until the end of the contract.
