Fabindia trolled for hurting Hindu sentiments.

There was a tweet by fabindia which had models wearing their diwali collection but instead of writing Diwali collection, it was named as jashn e riwaz collection.

Clothing brand Fabindia tweeted a post which has severely hurt hindu people. The post has now been removed.

Hindu’s are peace loving people and according to Javed Akhtar they are also the most decent majority but just because Hindu’s are peaceful and don’t believe in initating violence doesn’t mean anyone will deliberately hurt them and they will remain silent.

The clothing brand was accused of defacing the Hindu festival of devali by terming it jashn e riwaz. Many slammed it for unnecessarily showing secular vibes and Muslim terms in a hindu festival.

“As we celebrate the festival of love and light, Jashn e riwaz is a collection of clothes by fabindia that gives beautiful homeage to the Indian festival” was tweeted by Fabindia which is now removed.

On twitter it was trending #boycottfabindia and a bjp leader slammed Fabindia by saying that Deepavali is not Jashn e riwaz. This is a purposeful attempt at abrahmanising hindu festival and brands like Fabindia should face economic costs for this.
