On Tuesday Nainital district faced immense rainfall due to which it led to Lake overflowing and inundating roads, which in turn affected the coffee shops and nearby areas.Ramgarh is a village which is situated in Nainital district.

People are worried about the fact that how will the things get back to normal and their loved ones are struck there.According to the reports of ANI news agency Police teams and administration have rushed in rescue of the victims.

SSP Preeti Priyadarshini revealed that some injured have been rescued from the accidental areas. But still some are in thorough search and the exact number of people trapped there has still not found by them.But some of the reports state that 9 labourers are buried under the debris after a landslide followed by heavy rain in the Ramgarh area.

Nainital SSP Priyadarshani told news agency ANI, “Some injured have been rescued from the spot where cloudburst occurred in a village of Ramgarh in Nainital district, their actual number is yet to be ascertained.”

Talking about as to how it happened and when it happened so it happened at night time due to the occurance of landside the wall collapsed which in turn affected the labourers working in it they got buried as it happened suddenly it led into major accident. But one of the labourers survived from there.Soon after that SDRF teams reached the accidental spot.

CM Dhami said “Houses, bridges etc have been damaged at many places. 16 people have died so far. Three helicopters are to be deployed for rescue operations.”The network was also lost due to the power cut happening since two days.The dead bodies have been identified as Dheeraj Kumar Kushwaha, Imtiaz (20), Jummerati (25), Vinod Kumar (21), and Harendra Kumar (37).The injured person has been identified as Kanshi Ram (20).

According to the predictions of the meteorological department there is an estimation of heavy rainfall, thunder , lightning and storms in 13 districts of Uttarakhand from 17 October and 19 October. Due to the devastating incidents that occured Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a discussion with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and minister from Uttarakhand Ajay Bhatt to plan something beneficial which would save the netizens and the victims accordingly.

The lake is continuously overflowing as it results in flooding of the streets that is now entering in the building and houses as well.
At lemon Tree resort which is situated at Ramnagar-Ranikhet route around 200 people got trapped there as the water entered the resort.Some of the people are rescued by the police officers,DGP Ashok Kumar said "About 200 people who were stuck at Lemon Tree resort, located at Ramnagar-Ranikhet route, have been evacuated. At least 24 have died due to incessant rains, maximum casualties from Nainital district."
