In one of the interviews he has been sharing his thoughts and ideas about his journey throughout the flim industry.Recently he had a interview with India Today in which he had opened up about the experience working with Khan's whiz, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He said "I feel pressure with people who are non-actors. If you have found someone on the road and asked them if they can act, I get scared of that. If there is a child, dog, or cow, I get more scared of them because they are so unpredictable. No matter how much you act in front of them, they look better. I get more scared of them than popular names. These are popular names. For me, a popular actor is someone in front of whom my honesty can be reflected. For example, if there is a role of a mechanic in a film and you get an actual mechanic, I get scared of them as they are more conventional and their dialogue delivery will be genuine."

He has always been talking about the industry politics and shares his opinions considerably.Recently he had opened up about the racism prevailing in the industry.
