Kolkata main festival is Durga Puja, so the artist starts to prepare the idols and pandals with some unique ideas, 2-3 months before the festival.

1. FD BLOCK, SALT LAKE:
This year the theme for Durga Puja is FD Block in Salt Lake. The pandals is designed according to an old English Castle. The idols has been kept completely traditional with glittering and colourful 'Chalchitra,' inside the pandals.

2. KAKURGACHI YUVAK BRINDA:
This Durga Puja committee decided to do that things which are forgotten by the people for long. So there are hand painted posters, the pandals has been decorated with glimpses of some of the best jatra that once discussion in the almost every Bengali household. According to the theme, Devi Durga along with her children have been dressed perfectly.

3. SHADHINOTA DIBOSH UDJAPON SAMITI, KAKURGACHI:
This committee theme is based on the traditional arts or Indigenous art of various areas of the state. In the entrance of the pandals is draped with red decorations and so the borders adorned with Trishuls. Surrounding in covered by painting by popular artist Jamini Roy. Devi Durga sits at the centre of the pandal in a traditional ekchala form.

4. CHALTABAGAN:
This year the theme of the Chaltabagan's is showcasing the goddess in bridal surrounding from designing the pandals to the idols everything has tribals touch. Devi Durga and her children are dressed in Indigenous clothing and accessories just like they wear in tribal communities.

The pandal for Adhibasi Brinda has channelized a much creative way to depict the sudden halt of time due to the pandemic. The club is celebrating their 59th year of organising Durga Puja.
