Former Bigg Boss contestant Manu Punjabi who walked in as a commoner & is now a celebrity after his stint in the house, is one of the loyal fans of the show & he usually resorts to social media to speak giving his two cents on the contestants.
Bigg Boss Season 15 kicked off last night and so did the show’s age-shaming culture. After Shamita Shetty, the latest victim of age-shaming on Bigg Boss is popular television actor and presenter Jay Bhanushali. In the season’s first episode, during a task, actor Simba Nagpal made a remark on Jay’s age and the generation gap.
About Bhanushali, the Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actor said, “There are a few people here who are attention seekers and the people my vibe matches with, I am not an introvert for them. And for the people with whom there is a little ‘generation gap’, my vibes don’t match.”
He continued, “I am sorry Jay bhai, main aap hi ki baat kar raha hoon.” Knowing that Simba is 25-years-old, Bhanushali responded by saying there isn’t much of a gap, stating he himself is 36 and that they are of the same generation.
Bigg Boss 15 began with a loud thud as the inmates got into an ugly spat during the first task. Jay & Pratik made headlines following their fight. Relatively new comers Simba Nagpal & Eishaan Sehgaal passed few comments in bad taste for seasoned actor & presenter Jay Bhanushali. They spoke about how Jay’s career is on a cliffhanger.
Jay started out as a television actor & in a span of 15 years went on to do a couple of Bollywood movies, reality shows, music videos & is now an established host & presenter.
These comments coming in from newcomers with no substantial work to their credit upset Manu & other fans alike. Manu took to twitter & wrote, ‘#SimbaNagpal #ishansahgal #jaibhanushali ke career ki chinta tum Rehne do. Agar kisi ko mature character play karvana hoga tho kya tum karoge?Or rha swal kaam or Talent ka Tum jis din #jai jitna kaam karloge us din dekhenge. shutup for now seeu on #weekendkavaar #BiggBoss15’
