An official announcement of the film is yet to be made; however, one expects that to be done once the shoot begins. The film is produced by Allu Arvind, Aman Gill and S Radhe Krishna, who are also producing the soon to be released Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey. The sport-based drama is gearing up for a theatrical release on December 31. Kartik recently wrapped up shooting for Freddy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and is now looking forward to commence work on his biggest film till date.
The actor also has Sajid Nadiadwala’s yet untitled love story under his kitty, which is directed by Sameer Vidhwans. Kriti on the other hand also has the Tiger Shroff starrer Ganapath under her kitty, which begins soon in the UK.
Ahead of the release of the most anticipated film of the year Jersey, there is an exciting update from the lane of Aman Gill. Gill, one of the celebrated producers in the industry, is gearing up for another power-packed project.
Our sources have it that the ace producer has locked Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon for his next ambitious project Shehzada. The film will be the official remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the project is said to go on the floors on 12th October.
A source revealed, "Aman Gill wants to mount Shehzada on a grand scale. For which, along with a massive set, ace music composer Pritam has been locked. In fact, Rohit Dhawan and Pritam have already started jamming for the film."
"Apart from Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, the talks of getting Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala for two pivotal roles in the film are also on," he further added.
The makers are yet to make an official announcement. However, the latest update has already piqued the audiences' interest. Anam Gill, along with Allu Arvind and S Radhe Krishna, will back 'Shehzada,' with Rohit Dhawan at the helm.
Meanwhile, Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor, will hit the theatres on 31st December this year.
