RSS Kshetra Prachar Pramukh Pramod Bapat and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. The prestigious Chitra Bharati National Short Film Festival - 2022 is to be organized in Bhopal from February 18-22, 2022 by Bhartiya Chitra Sadhna.

Elaborating his point, Khedekar said that I see cinema not only as an entertainment medium but as infotainment. In Marathi, a drama show is called a "prayog". It is really an experiment. In today's time any person can watch cinema at any time. That's why filmmakers need to be very careful what message they convey, he added.

I am proud to be a part of this festival and happy to know about the themes of this year. It is a big responsibility, Khedekar said.

Bhartiya Chitra Sadhna is dedicated to Indian thought in the field of films. Bhartiya Chitra Sadhna organizes a National Short Film Festival every two years and a number of film related programs at the local level such as film appreciation, discussion and debate, training workshops etc.

The latest short film festival, which is to be held in Bhopal between February 18 and 20, is the fourth in the series. The festival strives to preserve India's traditions and diversities in audio-visual media. The theme of the festival this year includes "Indian Freedom Struggle" and "75 Years of Indian Independence" to commemorate the 75th year of Indian Independence.
