The Delhi restaurant which didn't allow the Women in Saree to enter, Shut down for License.

Recently as per the incident that happened as the women in the saree was denied for entering in the south Delhi restaurant, which drew the attention of the people and the video got viral too on the internet. Officials On wednesday said that the restaurant was shut down as it was running illegaly without the trading license.

Mayor Mukesh Suryan said PTI, from South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) confirmed that the restaurant has been closed"The Aquila restaurant was operating without a proper licence. It has now been shut after we issued a closure notice. We are also exploring other actions including imposing a penalty in accordance with the DMC (Delhi Municipal Corporation) Act against the eatery as it was functioning without approval from the civic body,"

SDMC officials on September 24 sent a closure notice to the Aquila restaurant for rendering their services without license. The secret information was known as the incident gathered a thorough check on the details of the particular restaurant.

"The public health inspector again inspected the site on September 24 and found that the trade is running under the same condition. You are directed to close the trade within 48 hours of the receipt of this notice failing which suitable action including sealing will be taken without assigning further notice,"

The owner reacted to the notice by saying: "I have closed-down the above said trade immediately and I shall not run the same trade without SDMC Trade Licence under insanitary condition from health point of view and create nuisance."

The video shared by her depicted the situation where she indulged herself in massive fight and what actually happened there. After seeing the video the restaurant stated it was "misrepresented". The NCW has asked the details to the Delhi Police to give details of the incident.

"The Aquila restaurant was running illegally without licence. The notice was issued to the eatery only after I raised the issue. Now, the authorities have informed that the restaurant has been shut. It is a matter of probe that how the restaurant was running without a licence," he told PTI.

In the SDMC House meeting today, Congress councilor from Andrews Ganj Abhishek Dutt raised the issue and moved a proposition requesting a fine of ₹5 lakh be forced against any eatery, bar or inn that denies passage to any individual wearing customary Indian clothing.
