Dua Lipa's Tactful Airpod Accessory Is One of a Kind (PICS INSIDE)

On 10th September, the pop star posted a few of the most exotic pics on her Instagram from Italy taken during Milan Fashion Week. One of the images that stood was of the pop star wearing an itty-bitty cropped top in the shape of a butterfly by the designer Masha Popova. Lipa accessorized it with a metal choker, which, upon closer inspection, appears to have a pair of wired headphones threaded through them. Specifically Apple’s EarPods with Lightning Connector, with two earbuds dangling at the pop star’s Grammy-winning throat.

The wired headphone is the most humble phone accessories. It’s not as flashy as wireless AirPods that sell for $159, or the next-level AirPros that are marked at $249. In contrast, Lipa’s wired headphones are $19. She isn’t the only celebrity giving lo-fi tech. Back in 2019, when wireless headphones were bursting onto the mainstream market, Hadid too stepped out with a pair of Earpods.

After all, the wired headphone sends a message. Lipa is clearly perfectly secure with her low-fi accessories and has nothing to flaunt except for herself and, well, her good wardrobe. And if you’ve bitten the bullet and gone wireless, why not take a page from Lipa and wear your old Earpods as a necklace?
