Chennai Super Kings becomes first team to qualify for playoffs in the IPL 2021 with the stunning victory over table bottoms Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are officially out of the tournament with the close defeat against Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets, when MS Dhoni hit a six over long on in the last over of the match. Though Sunrisers Hyderabad succeed to cover up the match but failed against hard batting lineup.
Earlier, CSK won the toss and opted bowl first and started well with early wickets of Jason Roy and Williamson. As Hyderabad batting line up has its own flaws with respect to match experience it keeps get falling on regular intervals. Wriddhiman Saha though stayed strong and scored 44 runs off 46 balls, but in the need of playing fast got out.
CSK restricted Hyderabad on 134 runs with Hazlewood taking 3 wickets while Bravo 2. Later on CSK openers or we can say top opening pair of the season, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf Du Plessis again proved why are they class players. CSK lost their first wicket on 75 but didn’t lose any hopes. In sixteenth over Rashid Khan bowled Moeen Ali while Holder got Raina & Faf in the alternate bowls.
Match seem to be going close till Rayadu and Dhoni played some big hits and confirmed their entry into the playoffs.
