Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals and take one step ahead of the qualifications with 14 points in the bank.
Virat Kohli & co. has got extra two points with the comfortable win over Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in today’s fixer. With proper plans and executions RCB seen in control throughout the match, while Rajasthan Royals completely failed at their planning things for the opponents.
Earlier Virat Kohli won the toss and opted bowl first and wanted to chase down on that tough pitch, the skipper’s call got criticized as chasing is not that great formula this year. But Kohli and co. succeed to break the patterns and despite top order players Rajasthan Royals collapsed easily against strong bowling unit of RCB.
Lewis scored 58 runs while Jaiswal scored 31 none of other batsmen scored big runs ahead as a result Rajasthan could score 149 runs losing 9 wickets. From Bangalore current purple cap holder Harshal Patel took 3 wickets while Chahal took 2, Shahbaz Ahmed who turned out match in his first over only, took two big wickets of Samson and Rahul Tewatia.
In the second innings, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Paddikal started well but couldn’t continue the good starts; K. S. Bharat and Maxwell though completed the remaining job. Both shared match winning partnership with Bharat scored 44 and Maxwell remained not out scoring another 50 this IPL.
