Kolkata Knight Riders Beat Delhi Capitals and gets into top four of the points table in the crucial stage of the match.

In one another happening season for Delhi Capitals, they had a bad outing today in both batting & bowling department as a result Kolkata Knight Riders continued their winning momentum from last match and got deserving two points.

Earlier, KKR won the toss and opted bowl first which turned out a good decision when Delhi’s middle order collapsed against all round spin attack from Kolkata. Narine bowled out Shreyas Iyer and got Lalit Yadav LBW. While explosive batsmen Venkatesh Iyer turned out as a productive all rounder as well, he surprisingly bowled four over and trapped Hetmyer & Axar Patel.

Steven Smith and Rishabh Pant remained top scorer, both scored 39 runs & Delhi Capitals scored 127 runs in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. KKR openers were all set to launch their explosions, Gill Scored 30 while Venkatesh Iyer started well but got bowled out against Lalit Yadav. In quick succession Delhi Capitals got three wickets which balance the match for both sides.

Nitish Rana though came to rescue KKR, he scored 36 off 27 with the short cameo by Sunil Narine who scored 21 off 10 balls. Bowling unit of Delhi Capitals succeed to get few wickets in the bank but the total they put earlier was just not that fighting target.

KKR have won three out of four in the UAE leg and it's been a splendid turnaround. Today's win would have boosted their NRR as well, that too in Russell's absence.
