They don't call Ekta Kapoor the content Czarina for nothing. The film maker has been at the centre of revolutionizing TV industry. Ekta is credited with some of the best pieces of content to show for herself. The filmmaker was left undeterred by the pandemic and continued delivering some high class movies and tv series and worked on numerous projects during Covid Times to make it clear that she still is one of the top film makers in the industry.

Ekta Kapoor's film 'Pagglait' wrapped up it's shooting midway during the pandemic. The later half of the shoots were conducted in accordance with the Covid protocols and maximum care. However, none of this got into Ekta's head as she delivered one of the biggest hits on digital platform during Covid Times. The movie was a phenomenal success and got raving reviews from the audiences and critics.

'Dolly Kitty aur woh Chamakte Sitare' is another movie that was hampered by the lockdown. The movie featuring Konkana Sen Sharma, Bhumi Pednekar and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles not only did well but also was subject to a lot of praise as Ekta master-minded yet another film in unforseen times.

Another one of the projects which started shooting during pandemic was one of the most awaited sequels, Ek Villain Returns. The movie has created a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. Right from the Director to actors to Ekta as producer, the film is blessed with a lot of top quality people. The movie began and ended (certain actors) shoots amidst the restrictions placed due to Covid and is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

The shooting for 'Freddy' began recently and marks yet another project taken on during Covid Times. The Alaya F starrer movie is currently in the shooting phase and is expected to be a hit as the B-Town also gets to see a new onscreen pairing in this one.

'Goodbye' marks the bollywood debut of Rashmika Mandanna. The film also got onboard actors as big as Neena Gupta and Amitabh Bachchan so without a doubt the star cast has the firepower. Backed by Ekta Kapoor this project is another one of those movies that were kickstarted during the restrictions and began rolling in the midst of these trying times.
