Mnet and HYBE have officially started I-LAND 2 production in which they will launch ENHYPEN‘s sister group.
According to a press release shared by CJ ENM, I-LAND 2 has officially started production, announcing they are accepting applicants for the show’s second season, which will form a girl group. The girl group is created with work alongside ENHYPEN under BELIFT LAB.
Regardless of nationality, any female born between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2009, will be allowed to apply for the show. The application period is from 27th September, 12 pm KST to October 10, 12 pm KST. Auditions will be held in seven regions around the world — Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, the United States, and one more unannounced location.
I-LAND 2 is scheduled to begin airing in 2022.
