Tabu is all set for shoot for much awaited Sequel ' Drishyam 2 !

malayalam movie Drishyam Which released in 2013, was one of the most successful films of the Malayalam industry. Due to its success and its engaging plot, the film was remade in several Indian languages, including Hindi. While the Malayalam film had Mohanlal in the lead role, Ajay Devgn reprized his role in the Hindi version. The film’s sequel was released on Amazon Prime Video in February earlier this year. Soon after the release of the sequel, remakes of the film in different languages ​​were announced.

The one film that the audiences wanted to see the jodi back together in was the sequel of the superhit film, Drishyam. Well, fans do not have to wait too long as it's now confirmed that Tabu will soon commence the shoot for Drishyam 2 with Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Ishita Datta.

In the first part, it was seen that the family comes under suspicion when the son of Inspector Meera Deshmukh gets killed. Tabu continues her role as the tough cop and mother who leaves no stone unturned in order to get justice. Her stellar act won her reviews, awards, and love from the audiences in Drishyam part 1. While the storyline of Dhrishyam 2 will only be revealed post-release, one thing is for certain, IG Meera Deshmukh is back and the fans cannot wait for this one.

According to reports, Tabu will soon reunite with Mahesh Manjrekar on his next directorial White. The film is being produced by Sandeep Singh and Raaj Shaandilyaa. Tabu will next be seen in Anees Bazmee directed horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.
