FIR has been lodged against the makers of popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show. It happened after the episode in which makers showed cast drinking alcohol while performing a courtroom scene.
The case has been filed in the Shivpuri District and Sessions Court in Madhya Pradesh by Suresh Dhakad. The lawyer claimed that the episode with the 'objectionable scenes' was aired on Sony TV.
The case has been filed against the host of the show Kapil Sharma and channel's director MP Singh. The case is set to be heard on 1st October.
'In the courtroom scene, the co-star comes onstage with a bottle of liquor and urges other people to taste it. This scene outrages the dignity of the court. It should have also featured a statutory warning, which it did not", The lawyer claimed.
The lwayer also claimed of showing offensive content in the past too.
