Colleges to Open after October 2: Says Maharashtra Deputy CM

As many people are getting vaccinated soon there will be things starting again as the good old times. Various fields have started eventually but the educational fields are still running online, to make it offline an announcement has been made for opening educational institutes after October 2.

Kishore Pednekar said the decision of opening schools will be taken after Diwali. but as the Vaccination is not available for the children below 18 years its a risky step of opening the schools. So only the students who are pursuing the courses above 18 years are allowed.

Ajit Pawar said “Students who are above 18 will be vaccinated by then and we have started vaccination for teaching and non-teaching staff in a big way. We will take a review of the situation on October 2, and if the situation is favourable, a decision to reopen colleges in a phase-wise manner can be taken,”

“Some parts of Maharashtra still have a high number of cases and test positivity rate. Depending on the number of cases and TPR, the corporations can decide whether to resume in-person classes,” said one of the member. further he continued saying “We are looking at the possibility of reopening schools post the Diwali break. However, the commissioner will take the final decision. It depends on the Covid-19 numbers after Diwali,”

The pandemic has hit us drastically and many people have lost their family and dear ones which has left them shake-end This time things are a bit different than before as it's pandemic time. as the schools and colleges are starting again utmost care has to be taken, Health speculations must be done regularly, efficient use of sanitizer and mask should be done,maintaining social distancing is equally important.
