Recently BTS visited New York City and they addressed world leaders at the 76th United Nations General Assembly as Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture with South Korean President Moon Jae In and first lady Kim Jung Sook.
On 22nd September, BTS and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hwang Hee visited the Korean Cultural Center New York in Manhatten, New York, a branch of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Republic of South Korea. They went to see a new photo exhibition that showcases 200 representative Korean actors titled “THE ACTOR IS PRESENT: Korean Actors 200.”

The Korean Cultural Center New York said that it was a surprise visit from BTS. When the members heard about the Korean film exhibition, they requested to tour the exhibition hall. The members were surprised but proud that there was such a place that people go to experience Korean culture in New York.
