Mumbai Indians will square off aginst Kolkata Knight Riders today on September 23 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

IPL 2021 is getting under the grooves in UAE's second leg as Mumbai Indians will face their iconic opponents Kolkata Knight Riders to compete for the 4th position in the points table. Both the teams are equal deserving candidate according to the performances this year.

But Mumbai Indians has a huge records against KKR and that's the leading advantage for them though MI Paltan is struggling this season after winning and losing 4-4 matches till now. Kolkata would definitely like to continue the momentum they got in the last fixer against Bangalore where they slaughtered the opponents to bring needed victory.

The availability of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya remains uncertain. Trent Boult, a day ahead of the match, stated that they were rested as a 'precautionary measure' in the opening game and are recovering well.
No injury news has come out from the KKR camp since the previous game.

Pitch Review: Even as the average scores for other teams were 155 at the venue, Mumbai Indians were scoring 187 on average last season. The defending champions have figured out the conditions better than the rest and it remains to be seen if they will be able to replicate that form this year as well.
