Celebrated film maker kalpana lajmi who died on 23rd September 2018 after prolonged illness. On the ewe of her death anniversary her mother Lalitha lajmi spoke about her.

The artist laitha said that during her illness a lot of actors from the film industry came to help her.

She said that soni Razdan and alia Bhatt were very close to the filmmaker and helped her till the end.

Aamir was the first person to help ,he would send money directly to her account. Soni razdan and alia bhatt paid for her dialysis till the end.

There were other expenses too thankfully her medical insurance helped . She said that she is greatful to all those who have helped her.
