Emmy Awards 2021 full winners list: ‘The Crown’ and ‘Ted Lasso’ bagg the major awards

After a virtual ceremony, last year due to the devastating pandemic, this year’s 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards went back to its roots bringing people to attend the event with all protection in place. It also contained all attendees being needed to show proof of vaccination. The event was hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. The Crown, which had numerous nominations, won in all major drama categories. Olivia Colman won Best Actress and Josh O’Connor won Best Actor for the series.

Apart from that, Ted Lasso earned Best Comedy Series and also bagged the first two awards in comedy for supporting actors Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein.

1. The Outstanding Drama Series was won by ‘The Crown’.

2. The Outstanding Comedy Series went to ‘Ted Lasso’.

3. The Outstanding Variety Talk Show award was given to Last Week Tonight with ‘John Oliver’.

4. The Outstanding Limited Series awards was bagged by ‘The Queen’s Gambit’.

5. The Outstanding Actor in Comedy went to  Jason Sudeikis for ‘Ted Lasso’.

6. Tha Outstanding Actor in Drama was given to ‘Josh O’Connor’.

7. The Outstanding Actor in Limited Series or Movie was earned by Ewan McGregor for ‘Halston’.

8. The Outstanding Actress in Comedy was given to Jean Smart for ‘Hacks’.

9. The Outstanding Actress in Drama was won by Olivia Colman for ‘The Crown’.

10. The Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series or Movie was bagged by Kate Winslet for ‘Mare of Easttown’.

11. The Outstanding Supporting Actor in Comedy was won by Brett Goldstein for ‘Ted Lasso’.

12. The Outstanding Supporting Actor in Drama was given to Tobias Menzies for ‘The Crown’.

13. The Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie was won by Evan Peters for ‘Mare of Easttown’.

14. The Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy was bagged by Hannah Waddingham for ‘Ted Lasso’.

15. The Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama was given to Gillian Anderson for ‘The Crown’.

16. The Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie was won by Julianne Nicholson for ‘Mare of Easttown’.

17. The Outstanding Director in Comedy was won by  Lucia Aniello for ‘Hacks.’

18. The Outstanding Director in Drama was given to Jessica Hobbs for ‘The Crown.’

19. The Outstanding Director in a Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special was given to Scott Frank for ‘The Queen’s Gambit.’

20. The Outstanding Writing in Comedy was earned by Lucia Aniello, Paul W Downs and Jen Statsky for ‘Hacks.’

21. The Outstanding Writing in Drama was bagged by Peter Morgan for ‘The Crown.’

22. The Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie Or Dramatic Special was given to Michaela Coel for ‘I May Destroy You.’
