Lyricist Javed Akhtar had recently compared Taliban to hindu right wing organisation and has now praised Hindus by calling them moderates.

Javed Akhtar says india can never become like Afghanistan because Indians are not extremists. It is in their nature to be moderate to keep to the middle of the road.

Akthar was criticised heavily earlier for his comments which said that there were similarities between Taliban and hindu right wing.

Recently it is said that there will be a documentary film made on Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan. The film is being produced by their kids .
