Gaurav Gupta Face Of Zomato, Quits; Find Out Why:

Senior executive Gaurav left Zomato just 2 months after food delivery company raised 1.3 billion dollars in public offering.

Gupta who joined Zomato in 2015, who was chief operating officer in 2018 and founder in 2019.later he was the face of the company.

His exit comes days after Zomato exited it's grocery delivery.Deepinder Goyal tweeted ,"there is so much of our journey still ahead of us and I am thankful that we have a great team to carry us forward.

Business run by gupta were either not working or were shut down such as grocery delivery, nutraceuticals and overseas expansion.

Meanwhile Zomato has a loss of 356crore rs during the first quarter and a 99.8 crore loss in the previous financial year.
