Thalaivii's 'Hai Kamal' traces Jayalalithaa's journey to becoming Tamil Nadu's Amma

After celebrating the cinematic legends and Superstardom of Jayalalithaa in the first three songs 'Chali Chali', 'Teri Aankhon Mein' and 'Nain Bandhe Naino Se', the makers of Thalaivii now present the first song scaling the political journey of the iconic legend from a young girl to turning the 'Amma' of an entire state.

With montages showcasing the varied instances of Jayalalithaa's life that shaped her as the revolutionary leader, 'Hai Kamal' pays an ode to the spirit of Amma.

Sung by Shankar Mahadevan & Parul Mishra, lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.

Just a few days away from the release, Thalaivii has already started receiving accolades and appreciation from critics, as the makers arranged special screenings. Taking a brave move of organizing multiple screenings days prior to the release, the makers of Thalaivii have put forth strong faith in their craft, results of which are evident in the heartfelt reviews.

Touching upon the varied aspects of Jayalalithaa's life, Thalaivii presents her journey as an actress, from a young age to emerging as the Face of Tamil Cinema along with progressing towards the later phase of her life showcasing the rise of the revolutionary leader that shaped the course of Tamil Nadu Politics.

Scaling over 30 years of journey, Thalaivii presents Kangana Ranaut aptly portraying the different looks of Jayalalithaa throughout her life, in a gripping story that reflects the untold reality, backed by impactful performances and entertaining music.

Directed by Vijay, Thalaivii, presented by Vibri Motion pictures, Karma Media Entertainment and Zee Studios in association with Gothic Entertainment and Sprint films has been produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh and Co produced by Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy with Brinda Prasad as the Creative Producer. Thalaivii is set to release in theatres worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu by Zee Studios on 10th September, 2021.
