Rohit Sharma Shines as India lead by 171 runs on day 3

Indian side dominated on day 3 against high class England bowling unit. Rohit Sharma put his first overseas hundred while Pujara continues his form from the previous match.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul shared another masterclass partnership where KL Rahul scored 46 off 101 balls, got bit unlucky against crunchy bowling by Anderson. Till then Rahul superbly dominated the opponents with 6 fours and 1 six.

Rohit Sharma on the other hand had a great outing today, scored 127 runs off 256 balls with 14 fours and 1 six in his account, to be mentioned that 1 six completed his first overseas hundred and 8th overall.

After Rahul Rohit put 100+ runs partnership with Pujara. Pujara scored an attacking knock of 61 runs including 9 boundaries. This partnership made India's position steady and strong in second innings and settled a platform for India's middle and lower order.

On the day end, Virat Kohli and Jadeja remained not out. India puts 270 runs till now and has lead of 171 runs.
