The Great Indian Film Festival to now be held On 3rd September 2021 in New Delhi

Earlier it was announced that producer Vevek Paul’s International Short film & Documentary festival, titled ‘The Great Indian Film Festival (TGIFF)’, would be held in March. But the organisers decided to push it because of the COVID-19 situation in the country.

Since now the Situation has improved in Delhi and after taking all the precautionary measures in mind and following Covid protocols the festival is happening at PVR Saket New Delhi at select City mall on 3 September 2021.

TGIFF will open with big Short films of Oscar fame and event is expected to feature short films from all over the world in this day long event attended by many filmmakers,actors , directors and people from the world of art & entertainment.

This touring short film festival will screen more than 65 movies from across the world. filmmakers from across 18 countries, including Russia, US, Taiwan, Iran, Singapore, Canada, Tehran, Czech Republic and Italy, have submitted their films to TGIFF which will be screened during the festival.

Speaking about the festival, Vevek Paul says, I feel extremely happy that we are finally able to do our festival For every short film maker and documentary filmmaker our festival is a moment of celebration where they can see their work being screened at the best venues of the world. We feel proud that our partners for this year are India’s most premium screening venues PVR Cinemas

TGIFF was founded by producer Vevek Paul in 2019 , and is a unique touring film festival which gives every short film and documentary film maker their much deserved appreciation and a chance to see their film on the big screen in the best venues of the world.
