In August this year Forbes released the annual list of highest paid actors in the world with Akshay Kumar being the only Bollywood star in the top 10.With earnings of $48.5 million (roughly Rs 362 crore), he occupied the sixth place in the list. Most of his income came from product endorsements, Forbes said.

According to trade expert and film critic Joginder Tuteja, though the on-going coronavirus pandemic badly affected the showbiz industry, the earnings/equity of top actors remain the same as 2019 with Akshay Kumar leading in the race.

Akshay Kumar: With a long list of upcoming movies including Bachchan Pandey (with Kriti Sanon), Atrangi Re (with Sara Ali Khan), Bell Bottom (with Vaani Kapoor) and Prithviraj (with Manushi Chillar) Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar grabs the top spot in the highest paid actors list of 2020.

Salman Khan: Another superstar who has dominated the film business for over three decades and gets paid an enormous amount of over 100 Crores per film is Salman Khan. This year Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan missed his two releases- Radhe (alongside Disha Patani) and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali still he is at no 2 when it comes to the highest earning actors.

Shah Rukh Khan: Bollywood’s ‘King Khan’ Shah Rukh Khan remain at no 3 even though his last few films didn’t really perform well at the box-office. SRK still is one of the most bankable star and enjoys enormous popularity both nationwide and throughout the overseas. Aamir Khan: Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist never misses a chance to deliver a spectacular performance unlike Akshay he does one film in a year but remains to be in the top slot with his whopping fees per film.
