On the occasion of Muharram holiday and Rakshabandhan, the Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom was able to make up for a decent first week at the box office despite restrictions and less number of shows, bringing Rs 19.40 crore. The action-thriller faced the Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Chehre which was released in 800 screens and dropped on second Friday with Rs 90 lakhs but recovered well on second Saturday with Rs 1.35 crore and on second Sunday with Rs 1.85 crore.

As per early estimates, there was a drop on second Monday which is the 12th day for Bell Bottom, minting somewhere between Rs 90 lakhs- 1 crore, bringing the overall collections to Rs 24.30-24.50 crore (extended first week as Bell Bottom released on Thursday).
