Directed by Rumi Jaffrey, Chehra was supposed to hit the theaters in April but then the second wave of COVID-19 gripped the nation and then release was held. Now, the Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer is ready for release after a promising trailer and good star cast including the talented Annu Kapoor. As per early reports from Box Office India, the morning show occupancy of Chehre has been low ranging to around 5% due to the low awareness and lack of promotion. The reviews have been average to decent which might hinder the progress towards the evening and night shows (again no show in Maharasthra and restriction of 50% occupancy). The thriller might collect somewhere between Rs 50-75 lakhs as what it seems from the collections till now. The budget of Chehre is 40 Crores (Production Cost: 30 Crore & Prints and Advertising cost: 10 Crores) and has released in 800 screens across India.

Chal Mera Putt 2 has opened very well in East Punjab. Surprisingly, the same film had opened in March 2020 when it was halted in between due to the COVID-19 pandemic eventually leading to the first lockdown. Chal Mera Putt 2 collected Rs 2.92 crore at that time with an opening of around Rs 1.25 crore.

As per the latest report, Chal Mera Putt 2 had already embarked on excellent opening and should be able to put in some good numbers. Watch this space for more updates.
