Billboard Apologize To BTS: From Stinking Xenophobic Comments To Accusations Of Chart Manipulation On ARMYs!

We can all agree that contending with the BTS Army is usually a pretty risky move. Rallying behind a common cause is easily one of the massive international fandom's greatest strengths, and that proved to be true again this week.

If you are active on Twitter you might have noticed that the famous boy band BTS have gone viral after their latest appearance on the cover of Billboards magzine. Both the band and magzine are trending with the new viral hashtag: #BillboardApologizeToBTS.

This all began when the outlet questioned BTS members on the past No. 1 spots on their albums (5 albums to be accurate) and whether it were the fans who deliberately "manipulated" the numbers. Billboard also accused ARMY in "chart manipulation" by coordinated efforts to purchase physical albums and digital records in bulk.

I feel that is statement or questioning by Billboard is just a little bit over the line. Calling out on a K-pop boy band and thier vast fandom for tricking to reach number 1 is just an insult to their efforts towards each album they have made. Just because the boy band has a vast group of fan, it doesn't mean they use them to reach number. It's their hardwork and dedication that is shown through their songs that attract the fans towards them.

After this action it would only seem fare that Billboard comes up and apologize to the boy band and BTS ARMY. Fans have come together and taken it to the Twitter account to support the boys and have demanded Billboard to apologize for their actions.

Given bellow are the tweets from fans reacting to the situation.
