Manish Malhotra is undoubtedly one of the best couturiers in India. The man has had an incredible journey of 25 years and has given us some jaw-dropping collections. But it seems he outdid himself this time with a risky color- orange. Pink and red were once the main color theme for the bridal collection but it seems like the designer took “Orange is the new black” way too seriously.
He opened the Indian Couture Week 2021 with his bridal collection named ‘Nooraniyat’ on 23rd August at 9:30 pm. The fashion film oozed out the royalty in subtle form and Kriti Sanon is the muse. It also included size diversity models which give the designer extra points. From long ghunghats to layered necklaces, each design had a story and emotion which the film was trying to convey. Kriti Sanon can be seen getting ready as a bride kicking off with her playfulness and wavy hair, red lips. Altogether Manish tried to picture the emotion behind traditional weddings in India and gladly it pitches the right spot. Starting from white lehengas to Kriti’s long orange lehenga, it looked like a dream.
