Gucci is Bringing Back the Classic Handbag that was Princess Diana’s Favorite

After Gucci tasted a huge success by bringing back the Jackie bag, the fashion powerhouse is all set to bring back the classic bamboo handle tote bag which was a go-to for Princess Diana in the ’90s.
Alessandro Michele has planned to reimagine the classic bag after 20 years.
Lady Di has been a big fashion influence for over a decade. The princess often broke royal protocols and embraced her style which made her the headlines of every newspaper and being followed by paparazzi. Over time as she distanced herself from Prince Charles and the royal family, Lady Di became more expressive with her fashion choices. Even her then stylist, Anna Harley once said that Lady Diana dispensed with the formality with royal dress codes.

The 2021 version comes in three different sizes and seven colors, the timeless cuir being the closest to Diana’s tote. It comes with an emerald and sweet rose version with yellow, pink, and orange stripes to showcase self-expression.
Some of the friends of the powerhouse such as Sienna Miller and Elle Fanning were quick to throw their hands on the 2021 version.
