Bell Bottom Morning Show Occupancy – Akshay Kumar Starrer Opens On A Decent Note
The combo of Rahul Rawail and Sunny Deol was back with action drama Arjun Pandit which was released with much fan fare when Sunny Deol was at the peak of his career giving back-to-back hits with Ghatak, Border and Ziddi in 1997. In 1998, Sunny Deol suffered a major set back with duds like Salaakhen , Zor and Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin so Arjun Pandit was critical for him. As a result, the movie took a good opening and made a collection of Rs 19.5 crores against a budget of Rs 5.10 crores. Both Sunny Deol and Juhi Chawla were appreciated for their superb performances.

Fida was touted as one of the most anticipated films of 2004. The lovely pair of Shahid-Kareena, second film of Ken Ghosh and Shahid after a hit, Ishq Vishq, and chart bursting songs were in favor for the film. The romance-thriller did take a good opening at the box office but the audience gave a cold shoulder and the result was that movie was declared as “Flop”. Even the Fida earned Rs 14.15 crores against a budget of Rs 10 crores, distributors suffered a huge loss.
