Sabyasachi Launches New Womenswear and Jewelry Collection after Controversial Collab with H&M

Indian designer Sabyasachi recently gained a lot of buzz with the announcement of a collab with Swedish multinational clothing retail company H&M. The two joined hands to launch a collection of affordable clothing and accessories for those who can afford pieces from Sabyasachi without burning their pockets.

The collection was available on selected stores across the globe and on Myntra, H&M websites exclusively. Although many were not happy with the collection range, it was sold out within minutes in India and around the globe. Netizens even called out the designer for not stocking enough pieces considering his demand in the customers. Later he issued an apology for the overwhelming response he received due to the collab and continued with launching the new womenswear and jewelry collection of 2021. He posted a video on Instagram which captioned “The Sabyasachi 2021 collection”. The exclusive range was all red and had the most Sabya aesthetic with big earnings, necklace, and mang tika.
