Japanese Idol- Actress Miyawaki Sakura Rumoured To Join HYBE Label, Hype Responded To The Report

Earlier today a Japanese media outlet, WoW Korea via Newsen reported that Miyawaki Sakura has officially signed an exclusive contract with HYBE. Based on the report, one of Miyawaki Sakura’s representatives also confirmed the news by saying, "Miyawaki Sakura signed a contract with HYBE and will depart from Japan and head to Korea within August."

Later today, Korean media outlet Sports Khan reported that Miyawaki Sakura would be entering Korea through Incheon International Airport on 23rd August at 7:55 PM. It has been reported that her arrival in Korea is to sign a contract with a label affiliated with HYBE. It is most likely that she will sign an exclusive contract with Source Music. 

Earlier, it was reported that HYBE was attempting to recruit Miyawaki Sakura alongside fellow IZ*ONE member Kim Chaewon to join their company to lead their new upcoming girl group. Kim Chaewon had completed signing an exclusive contract with Source Music.

HYBE responded through media outlet News1, “We cannot confirm the details of the artist’s contract. We ask for your understanding.”

 If Miyawaki Sakura joins the label, the new HYBE girl group debut could happen sometime later this year.

Fans will have to wait until an official statement has been released by the company.
