According to the IMD (Indian Meteorological Department), the monsoon set to revive in North Indian from August 19.

After a gap of two weeks, the monsoon is set to arrive over the Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on Wednesday and Thursday, the IMD said.

These state will experience increase rainfall activities in the next 2-3 days, the Weather Department said in its forecast.

According to the department, Madhya Pradesh will experienced this activities on Friday. East Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are expected to witness heavy rainfall from Thursday till Saturday.

Even the Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will get rainfall for two says Friday a d Saturday.

Orange Alert has been issued by IMD to Delhi. As precipitation will bring the temperature down to 32 degree Celsius in three to four days.

The Northeast India will continuously receive widespread rainfall for the next two days- IMD Said. There will also widespread rainfall activity over Bihar from August 20 to 22.

There will be "good rainfall" in this last 10 days of the month, expected to cover the precipitation deficit in the national capital.
