EXO's D.O might be making his return to the small screen. On August 13, SPOTV News reported that D.O has been offered to play the lead role in a new drama titled “True Swordsmanship” (literal title) and is fixing his schedule to appear in it.
In response to the report, a source from his agency SM Entertainment stated, “D.O. received an offer to star in the new drama ‘True Swordsmanship’ and is positively reviewing it.”
“True Swordsmanship” is a story about a prosecutor armed with bad manners and delinquency who gives unseemly justice for the weak and victims and pleasantly destroys all corruption in the prosecution organization and the Republic of Korea. D.O. was offered the role of Jin Jung, a delinquent prosecutor.
D.O. debuted in 2012 as a member of EXO and started his acting career in 2014. He impressed fans with his acting in various projects, such as the drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love” and movie “Swing Kids.” He is currently filming his new film “The Moon” (literal title), and he also recently released his highly-anticipated solo mini album “Empathy,” featuring the title track “Rose.”
