On 11th August, tvN officially announced that it would be airing a special spin-off of “House on Wheel” starring the cast of the upcoming film “The Pirates 2.”
The producers of “House on Wheels” explained, “‘Lending You My House on Wheels’ is a spin-off that is separate from “House on Wheels.” The program’s concept is that the stars of the original show—actors Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won—will be lending their keys to [the newcomers], who will live in the house on wheels without its owners present.”
“The spin-off is scheduled to air over the Chuseok holiday in September,” they continued, “and a total of nine stars—Kang Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, Kwon Sang Woo, Chae Soo Bin, EXO’s Sehun, Kim Sung Oh, Park Ji Hwan, and Kim Ki Doo—will appear.”
“The Pirates 2,” the highly-anticipated sequel of the 2014 film “The Pirates,” is an action-adventure comedy about fortune-seekers who take to the high seas searching for lost treasure.
Season 3 of “House of Wheels” will premiere in October.
