MAMAMOO‘s Solar has been reported for purchasing a ₩4.5 billion KRW ($3.92 million USD) building in Sinchon.
According to media outlet Maeil Kyungjae, Solar has purchased a ₩4.5 billion KRW ($3.92 million USD) building in Changjeon-dong, Seodaemun-gu back in January 2021 and paid off the balance in June.
The building has 1 basement floor and 4 above-ground floors and is located in the middle of a commercial district that has a large floating population. It is also located just a three-minute walk from Sinchon station.
Real estate experts stated that the sale price of the building was influenced by the fact that it is located in a semi-residential area of Changjeon-dong, so the price was a little lower than if it was fully residential. In addition, they stated that the Sinchon area is generally more undervalued compared to its neighbor to the west in Hongdae, but as it is surrounded by three large universities, there is a possibility that the value will jump up in the future.
