Being in bubble for months is not really easy for any human or superhuman but sportsmen and more specifically cricketers are facing the enormous effects of the bio bubble. Indian test squad is currently in England from month of June for the upcoming 5 match test series.
Just before the test series begin on Aug 4 England got big blow as their star all-rounder Ben Stokes withdraws himself from the test series for "an indefinite break from all cricket" to focus on his mental wellbeing and continue his recovery from a finger injury.
In the press conference when Rahane asked about how challenging it is to be in the bubble and what's his view on Ben Stokes pulled out himself, Rahane said, " “I think it's all about understanding the player's headspace. You have to understand what the player is going through in that difficult moment. So, we respect the decision, whatever he did, it was his call.”
“But yes, it is tough, it is challenging as a player as a team to be in the bio-bubble continuously and give your best all the time takes a lot,” he added.
While preparing in nets team India posted few behind the scenes as well. BCCI on its official Twitter handle posted updates on how team India is getting into the groove:
