Annkit Bhatia, who has done web series' like All About Section 377, is now all set to make his grand entry in the TV show Bhagya Lakshmi which will air on Zee TV soon. In an interview with us, spoke about his first break and why he chooses to do Television even after doing multiple web shows.
Annkit revealed his first break as an actor, "I have always been interested in acting from a very early age and had started preparing for my dream since I was in school. Later when I shifted to Delhi, I started working there along with pursuing my dream career. I started doing theatre, later it was Amit Khanna who is also my best friend now noticed me and got in touch with me, over facebook " says the actor. He adds, "That's how I started my career with All About Section 377. It was after that series, I shifted to Mumbai from Delhi."
Ankit later has worked on various web shows and thinks TV still has a greater reach than OTT. "The web audience has lately increased to a great extent. In this era, there are a lot of new shows that have come up which are quite realistic and our younger audiences can connect with them more. But again, speaking about the television reach, I think that in India, television still has a greater reach than OTT platforms. But undoubtedly, OTT platforms are increasing and coming up with great content," he says. He also shared about dealing with the pandemic and its after-effects. "The covid phase was very difficult but I had convinced myself that it is not just me who is facing all these issues, there are many out there who lost their families, house, jobs. So yes, I took a short break and visited my parents and came back here, to start afresh again,
