It seems like Rohit Saraf can do no wrong. The actor has been appreciated for his roles in back-to-back films, bearing a testament that his hard work is paying off. Yet again, the young actor has garnered flattering reviews not only from critics but also from audiences for his performance in Star Host, in the Netflix anthology Feels Like Ishq.
While Dear Zindagi may have been the film that shined the spotlight on Rohit, films like Hichki, The Sky Is Pink and Ludo brought him national attention. With Mismatched and now Feels Like Ishq, Rohit has played characters that make you fall in love with him even more, unwittingly cementing his position as the national crush in our country.
Leaving young girls drooling in his wake, the innocence and charm of Rohit is very reminiscent of Netflix sensation Noah Centineo (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before) or Ansel Elgort (The Fault In Our Stars). And what makes Rohit Saraf stand out is the range of roles and films or series that he chooses. Dabbling in a dark comedy like Ludo in the role of a situation-struck struggling Rahul or the effervescent Rishi in Mismatched or even the unconditionally lovable Kiddo in Dear Zindagi. Though his big splash may have been in ‘The Sky Is Pink’, he has consistently showcased his brilliant acting chops, in every scene he’s seen on-screen. (P.S. You cannot watch Rohit Saraf as Amir in the Norwegian film What Will People Say)
Projecting his efforts, his soul and an unfound innocence in every role, after Star Host, Rohit is going to follow it up with the reprisal of his character - Rishi in the second season of Mismatched with his favorite co-star Prajakta Koli. And if the audience enjoyed and loved Rohit in the first season, season two promises to be so much more.
