Privacy & Securacy is the hated part in this (digitally organised) world. The recent example we can talk about is Pegasus Leak. First reported about in 2019, the Pegasus spyware is still one of the most chosen tools for “total surveillance". India’s name has figured among countries that used Pegasus to potentially target politicians, journalists, and activists.

Pegasus spyware which targeted at least 40 India journalists, has now evolved from its earlier methods of infecting phones by spear-phishing to ‘zero-click’ attacks– a sophisticated method that provides access to the target smartphone in real time.

Knowing this information is even scary when you've all your data including pictures even passwords and every minor details. But this controversy has second side too.

India's controversy queen Kangana Ranaut while replying to her Instagram story penned a lengthy note on how ‘kings’ have the ‘right, prerogative and business’ to keep an eye on the people. Her comments come amid reports that several journalists, politicians and others were targeted with the Pegasus spyware, which can secretly activate a phone’s camera and microphone, as well as access messages, photos, emails and other data on the device. However, she added a disclaimer that she was not talking about the Pegasus leak.

But is it really needed? Current cases of Pegasus Leak came till now are sorrounded around Politicians, Journalists and activists and it clears that this is preplanned personal targets that creates threats to privacy of a comman man and his data.

As we grow in technology industry we are coming under such hacks and threats more frequently which damages the easily folding life in the current scenario.

Back then there was an option of not be depending on these things to store your data but technology has took over and now we don't have any other strong substitute for this & that's why, "it is better to have some privacy rather giving strings to king"
