Ishan Kishan on exclusive Chahal TV described how he went through while hitting a biggie on his first ever ball of ODI career against Shri Lanka, Yesterday on Sunday 18 July.
In the 263 runchase against Shri Lanka he anchored the innings with the captain in the crucial phase of the match. 23 year old batsmen scored 59 off 42 with two sixes and eight fours. He enjoyed the first two balls of his innings as he not only smashed six on his first ball but also picked up a boundary on his next one.
On the exclusive “Chahal TV” after the match he disclosed his temprament and tactics of handling tough pressure situations players faces during the debut international match. Yuzi Chahal reminded his another debut in T20 internationals against England in March when he hit a boundary on his first ball.
Kishan Speaking about his feeling after receiving his first cap said, “I am feeling proud that i am getting a chance to play for the country. I was cherishing the moment when i received my cap since i knew that my firends in the team wanted me to debut for India so i was feeling very supportive. After receiving the cap when all players came to congratulate me it was a very special feeling”
