The Ladakh is a union territory of India, located in northern part of Indian subcontinent. Considering the climate of Ladakh, there is great achievement of vaccinated the 100% of its population in just three months.

And become the first union territory to vaccinated 100 percent of its total population with at least first dose of coronavirus vaccine. Not only the people stay in Ladakh, but the entire Ladakh, which include the guest population like- hotel worker, migrant labourers and the Nepalese citizens working in the region.

As per the report 89404 peoples have given the first coronavirus vaccine dose, meanwhile 60936 people got their second dose of vaccine. The 6821 Nepalese citizens who live and earn there have also vaccinated by Government.

The Ladakh was able to achieve this in just a three months period. The administration has given the priority to hotel workers and the public transport drivers as they have a big part in tourism industry.

As per official said- Ladakh had a surplus of COVID-19 vaccines so instead of wasting it, they started vaccinating the people of age group of 18-44 which help them to reach 100 percent of vaccinated people.
