On 16th July Rosé posted several Instagram stories about the beautiful gift she received from the singer John Mayer.
The gift was an electric guitar and Rosé captioned it with the heart whelming words, “Life is complete.”
The gift came with a note from the American singer-songwriter himself, expressing his gratitude to her.
"Rosé! I should be thanking YOU!
(so thank you.)"
The gift came just two weeks after she made headlines for singing “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room” on the first episode of JTBC‘s Sea Of Hope. It’s a song that belongs to the Continuum album of John Mayer which was released in 2006.
At the time, John Mayer already acknowledged her performance as he posted an Instagram story of the scene, saying “This is gorgeous.”
In another picture Rosé posted, fans got to see the guitar up close. It turned out to be an electric guitar from John Mayer’s collaboration with PRS Guitars called “Silver Sky.” It’s specifically the Roxy Pink (Rosewood) variant which is similar to Rosé’s favorite color, baby pink, and it costs upwards of $2,500 USD.
John Mayer himself participated in the development of the guitar, calling it his “vision” of what one should sound like. Considering that Rosé’s most-used instrument is a guitar, it’s the perfect gift for her!
John Mayer: It’s been a dream of mine for years to design a guitar that includes some of my favorite vintage specifications but with a modern spirit and aesthetic. After two years of study and refinement, the Silver Sky is my vision of what a reboot of the electric guitar should look and feel like.
