Welcomed with good reviews, Luka Chuppi had the 5th highest opening of the year so far. The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer opened to a fair response of around 20% from the morning shows across India and picked up to a very good Rs 8.01 crores on its first day at the box office. Released in 2100+ screens, the opening of Luka Chuppi is similar to Kartik Aaryan’s previous success Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 (Rs 6.80 crores) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (Rs 6.42 crores).

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the curiosity to watch Stree was sky-high and thanks to mind-blowing reviews, the comedy-drama opened to a solid Rs 6.82 crores on its first day. Stree was released on 30th August, 2018 and was made on a budget of Rs 24 crores.
Similar to Stree, the trailer of Badhaai Ho has received some amazing response. The Badhaai Ho team did a very good job in promoting the film both in person as well as in digital world. Thanks to the glowing reviews, Badhaai Ho opened big with Rs 7.29 crores on its first day at the box office. Directed by Amit Sharma, Badhaai Ho was made on a budget of Rs 29 crores.
